Had a salad cost almost 13dollars, little bit of romaine lettuce lots of iceberg lettuce some beet slivers, not even a whole strawberry slivered and feta cheese-not impressed. The service was good and courteous. Might go back and try something different, see what happens.

Fifty's Family Diner Experience

I took my son to the diner on March 1st for a father and son outing. I was not impressed . The food was luke warm at best and the vegetables if you could call them that were waterlogged and cold. I ordered the "Hot" hamburger sandwich . The gravy was starting to congeal when it arrived at the table as was my sons "Hot" turkey sandwich. Our drinks consisted of chocolate milk and the cheque came to $34.00 and change with out adding a tip. The overall atmosphere of the place was fair with a few pictures of film stars hung on the walls. I thought the place was over priced ,the food not up to par and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Stoney creek favorite

Stoney Creek is littered with American fast food joints selling junk. At last a good restuarant where you can get tasty healthy food not costing an arm and a leg. The atmosphere is relaxed with fifties music and good decor matching the era. The staff is helpfull and even have a sense of humor. I am already a regular at this joint. Love the liver and onions. The salads are to die for for and you must try the chefs. It is a meal in itslef. The lettuce is crisp, the meat tasy and the portion enough to fill anybody. Be sure to have somebody to share with. The burgers are lippsmacking good and will quickly become a favourite. Try this joint and you wont be dissapointed

horrible

Recently went with my family for breakfast and the service was horrible we waited for over an hour before we got our meals, the food was not good at all the bacon was thin greasy and reminded us of the bacon you would get at a buffet at a cheap resort, also the toast was cold and soggy,as for the decor it was like it was thrown together at the last moment ,would not return there are better places for breakfast for less money.
