We went looking for Malyasian food and were not expecting anything special. Instead we found a great meal in an unassuming atmosphere, good service and exceptionally reasonable prices. Definitely worth a return visit.

Great food. Friendly folks. An excellent place for take out. Better than any take out chinese place I've found in Toronto. Dining room has improved over the years and it's pretty comfortable for very casual dining. But the sound of kitchen exhaust fans dominates the room, so it's not a place you want to linger after dinner is over. My favourite: Ginger chicken with garlic greens. Never had garlic greens anywhere else. They are great.

SE Asian delight!
An excellent mix of Malaysian, Thai and other SE Asian favourites. Flavourful and generous servings. We have searched high and low for good Malaysian and this is it! The price is excellent for this quality of food. All of the Thai favourites are also available. We've decided to keep going back until we've tried every menu item!

Home Cooked Thai Goodness
Very authentic Thai, Malay & Burmese food served fast and fresh and the owners are lovely and friendly people. This place is a welcome oasis from the usual fast food and dodgy eateries in the area. I think I've tried nearly everything on the menu and all of it is delicious. I usually order take-out and they are so quick and accommodating. Thanks Basil Thai for bringing great flavour to the Danforth Village! We really needed it!

Location is actually 2326 Danforth Avenue, between Woodbine & Main (Oak Park & Danforth) Alway friendly service and authentic Thai cuisine. Atmosphere is a little lacking but a great restaurant for the area.
