Meet the owner

After setting foot in Power Institute, chances are one may do a double take. At first glance, the space seems to have little in common with our perceived notion of what a gym should look like.

The industrial-chic studio isn't a typical  big-box fitness facility; there are exposed brick walls and couches up front that house chatting friends and svelte clients flipping through glossy magazines. In the back, trainers guide clients clad in stylish athletic gear through a series of movements. This is a gym gone upscale.
