Candid. Spontaneous. Intuitive. Alex Neary, founder of Wild Eyed Photography strives to set out on a new adventure with each and every one of her clients. With a process that’s more about feeling than thinking, Alex ensures that her photographic subjects are whisked away on a fantastical journey that just so happens to align with their life events.

Primarily a wedding photographer, Alex’s work spans across some of life’s biggest milestones. She quickly becomes a part of her clients’ lives from the first booking onwards. “One of the best things about my job is building a relationship with my clients. They end up adopting me into their lives, offering me a chance to photograph every milestone,” she says. “Wedding clients will rebook with me for maternity photos, baby photos and family photos. I feel like I become a part of their lives, documenting pivotal moments.”

The common thread that runs throughout all of Alex’s photo sessions is her uncanny ability to capture the true emotions unraveling in front of her lens. “I want people to look back on the photos and remember how they felt when I took their photo, which is always very happy.”
