I've been going h...

I've been going here for the past eight years and still enjoy their pitas. The staff is friendly and the pita's are huge and delicious! If you're in Whitby, you've got to stop by and eat a pita. Would you rather spend $6.00 on a McDonald's meal with thousands of calories? Or eat a healthy, great-tasting pita for the same price?

Big Food

Had a hunch about this place and it was right. Family went for early dinner and had a great time. Its a small place but for about $6 you get huge portions. The roast beef pita was really big portions. They were not stingy with the meat and fillings. I do have to say that some of the items you had to pay for a little extra...like olives. But other than that....staff was very friendly. Definitely famliy environment since owner ws even there with his grandkids. The baclava was not all there though....I was looking for a little bit more contents inside of it instead of the filo pastry. Overall, I suggest you visit the place. Just don't order a pita each person...since you may not finish it.

Fresh & Healthy..always consistantly great

I was shocked at the previous review. I eat there once a week and have never encountered that behaviour. They value your business tremendously and treat you like family there. They remember your favourites and always greet you and say hello. The owner Jimmy is a joker and has his favourite customers that he jokingly picks on. The son has always been friendly with me and always asks about my family. The women who work there are also kind. They go above and beyond to make your food as you want it. I have NEVER had a problem there. The best thing is the food is ALWAYS the same GREAT!!!! I know what I am getting everytime will be consistantly good. It is a family operated business that has another store at the 5 Points Mall. They are also great there consistantly. They work long hard hours 6 days a week. The only downfall is they close at 3 on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. It is always packed at lunch which is a good indication of the food quality. The portions are huge compared to other Pita shops. Ask for extra crunchies in your salad they are yummy. I get the veggie everytime, and the pita is so fresh. Try it, I guarantee you will love it. The corned beef and chicken are great also.
