Chocolat Deluxe

Chocolat de luxe dates back to 1982, when it was founded under the name Distribution Le bon petit Québécois. “My father, Alain Laframboise, originally launched what would become Chocolat de luxe,” says Vincent Laframboise, who now co-runs the company. “At the time, his sole activity was the distribution of chocolate bars, with no production. Seeing the potential for the business of manufacturing chocolate, he changed the brand and completely rebuilt the business in 1994. That’s when Chocolat de luxe was born.”

The Laframboise family business has always been about helping the community. Since its very beginning, Alain has been using it to provide work for those who need it the most. “At first, my dad worked with disadvantaged youth, so they could get their first exposure in the job market, and of course make a living. We now work with organizations that help people with mild intellectual disabilities enter the workforce. It has always been a core value of our business to make a difference in people’s lives,” adds Vincent, who has been involved in Chocolat de luxe since 2008.
