Meet the owner

Before becoming the delectable and welcoming little cafe we now know, LesOubliettes was born out of a desire to open an artistic centre for children. Drawing, painting, book reading or rhythmic yoga and hands-on artistic activities filled the calendar, offering toddlers unique opportunities to learn, create and have fun.

As the weeks went by, Éloise Corbeil, the charming owner of Café Les Oubliettes, decided to offer families something to eat. "We said, 'OK, we'll start by offering coffee...' And then I discovered the vast world of hospitality!"

And just like that, Eloise was hooked on cooking and on turning her skills to a whole new world. Now Les Oubliettes has become a genuine little restaurant-bistro that brings people of the neighbourhood together.

    Trop long, trop cher... J'ai commandé un sandwich supposé venir avec une salade, tel que l'affichait l'ardoise à côté du comptoir. J'ai eu un sandwich, il n'a jamais été possible d'avoir la salade malgré la remarque faite à la caissière... Un essai raté!
