His own boss in the construction industry since 2002, Marc-Antoine specializes in carpentry and woodwork, and works on any type of renovation or construction projects.
"I’m someone who enjoys working on a wide range of projects," Marc-Antoine says. "I need frequent changes of environment, which is why I chose to work in the construction industry in the first place. It’s always from one project to the next, always working on different things with different people. It’s never the same thing, so there’s no time to get bored, and it teaches you a lot of skills; I’ve learned a lot since I started"
Marc-Antoine sees himself as a hybrid between an artisan and a contractor. With his level of experience and his very hands-on approach to his work there’s no denying that professionalism and craftsmanship are intrinsically joined in his practice, bringing together the best of both worlds.
"It’s something you quickly have to develop, because there’s no such thing as a standard project on which you have to work with a specific skill set," he explains.
