    I go to the churc...

    I go to the church beside Acadia Funeral Home. We share the same parking lot and i find it disturbing to see these coffins stored out behind the funeral home. These coffins have been stored there since the start of December and was not going to complain about them, as I figured they would have moved them inside by now. I find this very disrespectful and upsetting as I do not think that this is the way coffins should be treated.

    This concern was received through our website, as well as through the FCSCS Compliance Office. We were found to be compliant with all rules and regulations (FCSCS Act/Regulations/Bylaws). All concerns and feedback are taken very seriously as we strive to adhere to the utmost professionalism and high ethical standard. It is important to us that we maintain a positive repertoire with our neighbors and community; because we care and are committed to the very sensitive nature of our work. We most certainly agree that caskets (urns, funeral service vehicles, etc.) are to be treated with respect and dignity at all times. We do not, will not, nor have ever stored caskets outside. The item in question was a cemetery vault. We never wish to cause offense nor undue grief and offer our sincere apology if this was upsetting. The vaults were immediately moved.
