Meet the owner

When Charles-Antoine Crête told his mother he wanted to become a chef, she gave him her full approval. Later, he found himself at the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality of Quebec (ITHQ). And then, with some good luck, he found himself at  le Toqué.

"If the Toqué had not existed, if Normand Laprise hadn't taken so much risk, the Quebec restaurant industry would not be where it is today," says Charles-Antoine. "The Toqué will always be a part of me, it's my roots!"
