The 2015 Omnivore Festival in Montréal

Chefs, pastry chefs and sommeliers travel the world to help us discover exceptional dishes. From August 20 to 24, our city will have the honour of hosting the 4th edition of the Omnivore Montreal festival. And the best chefs from here and abroad will be present to offer us dreamy menus. Here is a preview of what lies ahead.

Grumman 78

On August 20, François Côté, chef of the restaurant L'Impérial of Granby and Marc-André Leclerc, of Grumman 78, offer a menu worthy of the biggest events. There, you'll find treats such as trout tartare, crispy pig's head roll, lobster chicken wings (yes) and raspberry eclairs.

Pastaga

Martin Juneau, Pastaga's chef, accompanied by Pascal Barbot (L'Astrance, of Paris) and Patrice Demers, the extraordinary pastry chef, await you on August 21 for an extraordinary meal!

Lab

On August 22, Fabien Maillard of Le Lab, Comptoir à cocktails, offers a presentation of his craft and cooking with spirits. An event not to be missed for learning how to combine cooking and alcohol.

Restaurant Montreal Plaza

On August 23, chefs Cheryl Johnson and Charles-Antoine Crête, of the the brand new Montréal Plaza on St-Hubert, invite the famous Normand Laprise (of Toqué!) to join them.

And it's a sixth time in a row for the MTLàTABLE festival, playing matchmaker between foodies and Montreal’s fine food establishments. From November 2 to 16, choose from $21, $31 or $41 multi-course meals to start your culinary journey right here in Montreal. Here’s what’s on the menu at some of the restaurants taking part.
