Canadian Olympians are getting ready to hit the #RoadToRio for the 2016 summer games, taking place August 5th to the 21st. Are you ready for #Rio2016? Cheer on team Canada in true patriot love fashion, get styled like an Olympian, and wear the team uniform to show your support. Here’s where to shop Olympic fashion and performance wear. Hudson's Bay

1
176 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5C 2L7

Hudson’s Bay Company partnered up with edgy-meets-laidback brand Dsquared2 to design the Canadian team uniforms for #Rio2016. You can wear the same jacket that sprinter Khamica Bingham and other Canadian Olympians will be wearing during the opening and closing ceremonies. Rock the same fleece hoodie as wrestler Korey Jarvis and long-sleeve T-shirt as basketball player Tamara Tatham. You’ll find red, white and black flag-waving Canadian tees, tanks, shorts, pants, hoodies, jackets, caps, mittens, polo shirts and more for both men and women. Plus, you can even rep team Canada at work with Dsquared2’s preppy, patriotic blazer.

Sport Chek

218 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 2H6

You’ve probably seen Sport Chek’s #WhatItTakes commercials – they tell inspiring stories of Olympians like decathlete Damian Warner and trampolinist Rosie MacLennan who had to overcome obstacles to get to where they are. The “train like an Olympian” collection at Sport Chek is all about high performance wear for girls, boys, women and men. Shop sweat-resistant hoodies, Canadian Olympic team tanks, maple leaf graphic and moisture-wicking T-shirts, Techfit UV protection tights, and crew socks. Cheer team Canada on with the “Gold Canada Gold” T-shirts, or for a subtler design, opt for the Olympic Retro Lines tee.

Lululemon Athletica

153 Cumberland St, Toronto, ON M5R 1A2

Canadian yoga and running wear brand Lululemon has designed Canada’s beach volleyball team uniform for the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach. The collection will hit stores on August 4th. Straight-up high-tech research went into the making of this collection – I’m talking body scanners and infrared motion – to ensure no wardrobe distractions during the games. Think sports bikini tops with bonded straps that prevent them from shifting during play. You’ll find black and red tights, and Olympic volleyball players’ tanks, shorts and bikinis with a red and black gradient design.

National Heritage Brands

2989 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6P 1Z4

If that’s not enough team Canada gear for you, you can also shop at aviation pioneer-tribute Red Canoe for Canadian heritage wear. The Canada Shield T-shirt, which comes in the colours red and black, has the perfect subtle patriotic reference with its small maple leaf graphic on the front. Another great style to embrace during the Olympics is the Cross Canada T-shirt that comes in black, red and grey. To match, style your tees with Canada baseball caps.

Gotstyle

5
62 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M5V 2P7

Retired Canadian sprinter Donovan Bailey is being honoured at the #Rio2016 Olympics, and he turned to Toronto purveyor of dapper menswear Gotstyle to get him prepped for the event. So if you want to get suited like an Olympian, this is the store to hit for blazers, dress shirts, ties, pocket squares, cufflinks, shoes, and more. Get styled in a purple blazer like the star Olympian, or ditch the blazer and rock the palm-printed short-sleeve dress shirt by Australian brand Handsome Me, with cotton shorts and a pair of loafers for a summer look.

Jagwear

6
4-2319 Dunwin Dr, Mississauga, ON L5L 1A3

Jagwear is the designer behind team Canada’s gymnastic leotards for #Rio2016. While they don’t have an Olympics line, they do have patriotic designs, like the Canada shorts, a colour-block design with sporadic red maple leaf graphics. They also have other pieces like the shiny, metallic red tank with a sparkly maple leaf on the front, and various leotards showing off the word “Canada.” If you or your kid is a gymnast, this Mississauga store is a good place to shop for stylish and performance-approved gymnastics apparel.

Being pregnant doesn’t mean sacrificing your personal style. While there are a few stylish maternity stores in Toronto, you can still shop from trendy non-maternity stores, too.
