Arrived late, cook had left but as we just left without food, the owner and his wife invited us back in and his chef wife made wonderful chicken Alfredo and done in seemingly minutes. The service was worth the trip alone and the delicious portions filled this 270 pound (123kg) hearty eater. The waiter, Ray, extremely nice and the owner introduced wife after we finished. Fabulous food! I have walked by on several occasions and was certainly not disappointed when finally trying their place. You can tell the food is made from scratch and with skill. The real buffalo mozzarella in the caprese is a nice change and the lamb was cooked perfectly. Ambiance was nice and relaxed, not overly noisy. Waiters are very nice and attentive. Wine list is impressive. Biagio himself was nice enough to introduce himself at our table; A very pleasant surprise. Apparently they have monthly wine tasting events too. We will definitely return. Seriously, best restaurant i have been to! Donatello on Elm in Toronto - the service was sooo good - made very special by our knowlwedgable server! The food - sublime! I highly recommend it!   • Restaurant reviews: Online and newspaper restaurant reviews in the food or lifestyle section are your best asset when trying to find top restaurants in your area. Most reviews rate the restaurant by atmosphere, portion size, price and service. These independent restaurant reviewers have no one to please but their finicky tastes.
  • The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in Toronto ON, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience? The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or place a takeout order if dealing with delivery restaurants.
  • Call ahead: If you have specific dietary needs, food allergies or need to host a large party, call the restaurant of your choice ahead of time and be specific. You don’t want to ruin your evening dining out because the restaurant didn’t have a highchair for little Tommy.
