I had heard terrific things about Domani, a restaurant run by a former pro footballer from Afghanistan who has worked at some of Toronto's top restaurants, and had to come down to High Park and see for myself. The service was very courteous, prompt, and personal. At no point did we even have to ask for anything because it was already taken care of. The food was exquisite, well-presented and skilfully prepared. The portions were large but despite being quite full it was too delicious to leave any behind. The desserts were absolutely amazing, though next time I would do without the espresso. Though Domani requires a bit of a journey, I have not eaten anywhere in Toronto where gourmet food of this quality is available at such a reasonable price and accompanied by such excellent service. Edulis is amazing. The only thing disappointing for me is when dinner is over. The food is phenomenal, the service is warm and friendly, and the space is comfortable and unpretentious. They go above and beyond with thoughtful touches to the experience, like remembering it was my husband and my anniversary. It’s such a special place for my husband and I and is, by far, our favourite restaurant in the city. Read more

Excellent service, wonderful warm urban setting. The food was great, amazing quality ingredients at good value. Our only complaint is that the menu is very limited - which is a bit problematic for with some with food sensitivities. I do understand that the restrictions permit us to be rewarded with quality ingredients. If there were a just a few more choices I would have awarded this venue 5 stars plus. Read more

The value you get for half the price as the big players like the kegs. We are playing our next evening out to see if this was a one time perfect steak.
