Tucked in the basement of the St. Lawrence Market, Yanni's has become a new family tradition. The Greek breakfast has a lovely omellette, nicely garnished with an orange slice. Golden brown toast and hash browns make it heavy on the carbs, but hey, it's Saturday. The Greek baked potato is filled with feta cheese and tzatziki, a wonderful alternative to French fries. The lamb shank dinner is my daughter's favourite breakfast. Served up with rice and a fresh Greek salad, it is a strange but healthy breakfast. The service is fast and friendly.
