We had the unfortunate situation where our dog Hardy was hit by a truck, and we ended up at this Vet hospital. The initial emergency care, treatment, communication, was fantastic. The Doctors and staff are the best! Two years ago, my brand new puppy was diagnosed with possible hip displasia. Total bill, $6,800 - $8,000 for surgery, etc. Instead, I was told it was possible that the condition could be "environmental" instead of genetic. Especially since neither parent had it. Also, she was too heavy for her undeveloped bones, plus I walked her too long and too often. She was put on anti-inflammatories, I carried her when needed and I followed their plan. It was only 4 months and totally worth it. She turned 2 in March. She has regular check-ups. She has absolutely NO signs of hip displacia! THANK YOU Coquitlam Animal Hospital! My last vet wouldn't have given me another option and would have completely drained my bank account. Read more
