I love this spot, for some good drinks and a chat whether I'm on my own or with friends. One of my favourite things about this spot is that they have a variety of foods of different nationalities which is rare to see! I've been loving the new management as well and the changes they've made from the renovations to the changes in the menu. As a vegetarian I appreciate having multiple options to choose from and my favourite at Wylie's is Green Mango Tofu and Olive oil based vege pasta. Read more

One of the best pub experience ever. Excellent choice of food and service. We were a group of 6 we didn't have any reservation's. We all were served very nicely, drinks were filled constantly, manager was present and asked us how everything was and suggested us to stay for Karaoke as well. Food quality was excellent, we had wings for appetizer's. They were huge jumbo wing's and it was half price during the leafs game. Rest of all the food were excellent. I had the best turkey dinner at this establishment. The whole flavor, gravy and stuffing were just the best. Will tell all our friends's and highly recommend to every one. Read more

The nachos are to die for, and I don't even like nachos very much. The menu was severely limited due to the incredible business that is Pride Week, and I was at a stretch finding something vegetarian and to my liking. After being told that they were accepting no substitutions (understandably, but I just wanted no mayo and onion on the veggie burger), I went with my second choice, the curry. I wasn't expecting much, but it succeeded my expectations. Not fantastic and it needed more than a sprinkle of salt, but pleasant nonetheless. Co-diners raved about their nachos and pulled pork. Service was a bit scattered due to business, but were very friendly. When a beer was brought to our table that wasn't ordered -- but welcomed! -- he let us have it on the house. We absolutely loved this place. We were looking for a table on the patio, but when we arrived it was full. One of the waiters came out to us and told us that he could have a table ready for us in two minutes...and he did. Our waiter was a very nice young man who catered very well to us. After Peel Pub sank beneath the waves, me and my buddies had to find a new pub to enjoy. We tried a lot of places out downtown until we found this one. Scotland Yard is pretty awesome. It isn't pretentious or overpriced. It has solid, good pub food and pretty much everything you want to wash it down with. A great place to load up your stomach before a night of partying and dancing. The style is Olde English, but the menu has a good mix of Canadian food too. Chairs and Tables are old world but they are in good shape. Lack of parking is a problem, so if you are on foot this is a much better option. Also, waitresses do have a habit of disappearing, largely because the bar is U-shaped, but my cup has never truly run dry. They take pretty good care of there customers, and I always feel like I get my money's worth. The place can get a little bit rowdy with the mix of locals and tourists, but I've never felt disturbed by the clientale. A pretty fun pub. Get your eats and start your crawl. Read more
