I am not sure how to spell the greatest tasting pork roll that I have ever tasted, in Canada or in Italy, from where the owner/butcher is originally from. Try Porccetta in a roll, on a plate or take a piece home and serve to your family. It is now a tradition to serve it for our family get togethers. We cannot say enough good things about it! Vicentia also serves other foods for either take-out or to sit in as lunch. The steak sandwich is terrific. They offer other butchers products such as Sausages etc and I know people who drive from as far as Midland, Hamilton and Barrie to eat here or to take their products home. Try it. You WILL like it. Our absolute favourite for authentic italian. You know the restaurant is a gem when the local Italians eat there with their whole families (babies too!). As Marcello's is always packed, go early to get a seat (especially if your party is larger than 4) or expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes or longer. Service is prompt when seated and the lively atmosphere makes it very homey. The waiters are efficient, no-nonsense and definitely not snobby(as in other places), and they know the menus. On regular nights we share an appetizer, and dessert with our meals and we are stuffed!! The tirimisu is home made and heavenly; you could easily have seconds. I have been to other restaurants on College street, and quite honestly, at Marcello's the dishes are on par and above on quality. Combine the quality of food, with good portion sizes, very reasonable pricing, and you will see why Marcello's is always packed!! Read more
