Just wanted to publicly say thanks to Nicole and the staff at Trennant Park Pet Clinic. Our cat Lucy had been struck by a truck. The driver was kind enough to stop and care for her and track us down. She was in severe shock and needed immediate care. By the time we got to the clinic one staffer named Nicole was prepared for her and the Dr immediatley admitted her. She would require constant care and IV fluids for a number of days. Without insurance coverage we were very concerned about the costs of care. Due to her condition she could not be taken home so the staff at Trennant Park kept her hospitalized without any charge for those additional days. I was so impressed with their genuinely helpful attitude and concern for our pet that I will be using them from now on. We've been back for follow up and received the same genuine care. It's great to see that level of service. What I liked most is that everyone in the office seemed so sincere and just plain nice. Highly recommended! Read more

I had to use this vet in an emergency situation. I would have paid them anything, as I couldn't get in with the other vets I have used in the past. They charged me the exact price that I was quoted, and through researching afterward, I discovered it was the lowest price. They had to put my dog down, and they were kind and compassionate to both me and my dog. I have heard of vets trying to get people to consent to frivolous treatments, even when the dog is dying. These guys did no such thing. Honest, compassionate and professional! Read more

I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for. Whenever there was a problem Dr. Rana would tell us step by step what needs to be done to return them to a good health. If there are any surgeries performed, our pets received great treatment.
