Excellent Modern Indian restaurant. The food is great and service very friendly. Owner came to the table to talk to us. We had locally brewed India smooth lager which was very nice..new experience for us although I am an Indian. Samosa chat and Monsoon basket (pakoras) were delicious and so was butter chicken. Garlic Nan’s were the best I have ever tasted anywhere. To top it all the owner offered complimentary rasmalai ( it was Diwali) and it was also terrific. Would highly recommend it . Read more

I had heard terrific things about Domani, a restaurant run by a former pro footballer from Afghanistan who has worked at some of Toronto's top restaurants, and had to come down to High Park and see for myself. The service was very courteous, prompt, and personal. At no point did we even have to ask for anything because it was already taken care of. The food was exquisite, well-presented and skilfully prepared. The portions were large but despite being quite full it was too delicious to leave any behind. The desserts were absolutely amazing, though next time I would do without the espresso. Though Domani requires a bit of a journey, I have not eaten anywhere in Toronto where gourmet food of this quality is available at such a reasonable price and accompanied by such excellent service. We tried this spot for our Anniversary. We were lucky and ended up getting a spot st the bar without reservations. We had booked at another restaurant but due to the power outage they were closed. Anyways, happy mistake finding Patois. The food was AMAZING and the service and cocktails were pretty fantastic too!!! We ordered a lot of food, I just wanted to try it all. My fav was the crispy pork belly, jerk chicken, and dirty rice. I can’t wait come back again to try more off the menu. Read more

Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations.
