Calgary Well Woman Clinic

My experience with this place has been nothing but horrible. My first experience with them was when I got my PAP test done by them. I got a call about the results and was asked to come in to discuss them. When I asked if it was necessary, as it's a bit of a drive for me, the woman on the phone told me "Well, it's not really good news...". So here I am, crying and panicking about what this bad news is, and it turns out it was nothing... Unbelievable!

- The clinic used to be a house which is fine, but I saw no indication that it's now a clinic. I used my GPS to find it, and it still looks exactly like a house, so that was confusing. - The new patient forms to fill out are very unclear. - I was 15 minutes early to my appointment, yet was seen 20 minutes later than my scheduled time. - ^ Ironically about that, the two secretaries were complaining about how many people cancelled appointments that day. I wonder how late they'd be getting me in if no one cancelled! And Yes, things come up and cancellation becomes necessary. It's life. - What upset me more than anything: I went to the washroom and then sat in a different part of the waiting room. One secretary whispered to the other "Is she STILL in the washroom?", and then they snickered. As someone who works in the field of women health, you should be very aware that women health problems tend to require lots of washroom visits! Not only was that extremely rude and offensive, but it gives an idea of how little they know about the field they work in. I regret not saying anything about that. Hopefully they're reading this now and realize how offensive and inappropriate that was.
