Not sure how I hadn't heard of this place until a month ago!! Thank god I I'll never have to go to Wholesale again. I've been here a couple times and the owner is very friendly and helped me pick a bait casting reel. I've fished my whole life for trout using spinning reels so I wasn't familiar with how bait casters operated. Wes gladly took several minutes to demonstrate bait casting techniques to me. There was no pressure to buy anything, no rude/elitist attitude and Wes was extremely knowledgeable! My only suggestion would be that they advertise more aggressively! I had never heard of True North fishing Gear until one day when I saw their Truck driving around town. I decided to go take a look at there web site. I've spoken with several friends of mine who are fishermen that live in Prince George and none have heard of True North Fishing gear . I wish I would have found them a long time ago what a little gem.
