Meet the owner

Carol and Rollie LaMarche started their business small in 1981, but through years of hard work and following their passion for art they have turned Picture This! framing & gallery into an international award-winning store. “We started with a picture frame store in a garage in Edmonton,” says Rollie. “We looked around and found Sherwood Park was a good place to have a business and raise a family, so we moved out here.”

Picture This! framing & gallery is focused on customer service and adapts to changing trends. It represents more than 250 artists from around North America, which provides the gallery with a variety of styles for all tastes. “If anything, we are very good at helping people get what they want because most people don’t know what that is. It takes asking some questions, because everyone is different,” says Rollie.

The staff is constantly learning their craft by attending art shows and keeping up with the latest framing techniques. This commitment led to them taking home the grand prize at the International Larson-Juhl Creative Classic Picture Frame Competition – the largest contest of its kind in North America.

    Terrible customer service! They hung up on us over the phone when I asked to speak tot he manager and did it respond to our concerns about a framing job they did for us! They charged us outlandishly and did not offer or discuss the options of components ....then would not give a breakdown of their costs for the $800 Bill (for a 3 opening picture framing of our own photos!) won’t discuss a return with us. Very disappointing!

Please understand that we offer multiple options, and that we will not proceed without providing a price AND receiving approval. In this case, your boyfriend agreed to the option, the price, paid for it, then took it home when it was complete. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us. Thank you.

    Fantastic staff and interesting art from local artists. They also host a few shows and events with Canadian artists.
