Melanie Nielson has been interested in health foods and healthy living all her life. She wanted to be a nurse when she was young, but when she and her daughter became very sick from giardiasis, or “beaver fever”, everything changed. She visited a health foods store and found products that successfully cleared the fever away. “Everybody thought I was weird when I started going for other options to heal my ailments, but it has become very popular recently,” Melanie says. “I’ve been working in health foods since 1994 and I have not looked back since.”

She now sells products and treatments that can address many health problems, from IBS to alcoholism to Crohn’s disease. “With the right omega-3 oils, bacteria, fibre and diet, you will sleep better and think more clearly.”
