Typical pub style venue - nothing special

The food is not bad, slightly over-priced for pub food. I would avoid exotic sounding specials (I've had some bad experience with questionable looking/tasting meats). Thursdays at the Den (Thursden) are insanity. If you're looking for a pub-turned-club experience this is it. Student appreciation pricing is in effect. But be sure to be there before 8pm if you don't want to wait in line for over a half hour (I'm serious). The crowd is barely legal (~18) on Thursdays, and most aren't students. Resident bouncers are generally very rude and exceptionally obnoxious. Especially on Thursdays when they have authority over a larger crowd. The rest of the staff is upbeat and positive.
