What woman wouldn’t love to raid the closets of Vancouver’s wealthiest socialites? For self-professed girlie-girl Jigme Love, it’s all just in a day’s work.

The inspiration for her luxury designer resale store began to take root for Jigme when she was living in image-conscious Los Angeles. The savvy shopper couldn’t afford the coveted celebrity pieces, so she began to buy, trade and sell designer clothes.“I would shop at these amazing designer resale stores for clothes that were either never worn or barely used. It was affordable and better still, sustainable,” Jigme recalls.

When she moved back to Vancouver in early 2013, the freelance business writer wanted a career change.  A graduate of the International University of Monaco, Jigme possessed a business background and a love of designer fashion. “Then, one day it struck me like a light bulb moment,” says Jigme. “I love beautiful clothes, why not a resale luxury women’s store?”

Jigme began networking with fashion bloggers and local actors, and attending cocktail parties in the city’s swankier postal codes. “Eventually, the city's affluent and stylish taste-makers, and high profile women in the fashion industry began opening their closets to me,” says Jigme.

In September 2013, Jigme partnered with trendsetter and marketing guru Courtney Watkins and opened the doors at Mine & Yours. Today, the upscale resale shop carries on-trend, in-season pieces from the world's most coveted designer labels (including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Isabel Marant, Valentino and Gucci) for 60- to 80-percent less than the original retail price.

    WORST consignment shop ever- STEER CLEAR, FULL OF RIP OFFS! they charged me $400 for a pair of Chanel heels that showed up w/ broken straps, beat up, and were missing a pearl. they DID NOT tell me any of this before buying. “all sales final" so I'm stuck with them and never wore them once since the strap is useless! Pathetic and useless staff who don’t care to help you. since this happened I've read and heard many other similar stories...will never purchase there again.
