Impressive

As a long time customer of Piccolo, I only made it to Pinnacle St. once and was not impressed. However, the new location on North Front, is both convenient and supberb. Excellent location, decor, ambience, service but most of all food. I was with my parents, on Fathers Day, and despite the fact that it was Fathers Day, and quite busy all round, we were treated royally. Delicious food and the eggplant parmesan is to die for. It was a special day, and I'm so glad we chose Linguines.

Just Awful

As we had a large party it seems we sampled most of the menu and no one was satisfied with their meal. The caeser salad was very salty and had had no garlic what so ever. All the entrees were swimming in sauce. The salmon and the lamb were not badly cooked but they were drowning in the lemon cream sauce which was disgusting, the veal was stringy, the chicken was measly and over cooked, the AAA Angus steak looked more like a fast fry and was ordered medium rare but showed up well done and the shrimp was tough and chewy, the lamb chops. The vegetables were overcooked and salty and the "roasted potatoes" seemed more like deep fried cardboard. Our waiter was very gracious when we expressed our disappointment but I was surprised that the manager or the owner didn't come to the table when so much food was sent back uneaten. We will not be going back to this restaurant nor would we recommend it to others.

absolutly amazing!

I had been to the old restaurant and being italian from toronto I was shocked when I walked into the restaurant it was beautiful and I felt like I was back in my mothers kitchen... the new location is beautiful and the service was amazing the food was amazing and so was everything else... I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant and if your visiting belleville and want a change from the chain restaurants this is the restaurant to visit!

New locations not working

We have been loyal patrons. We always loved the and enjoyed the quaint little location downtown. The new location is lovely, The owner greeted us and sat us at a lovely table but after that there was NO SERVICE. It took us 40 minutes to get our wine and soggy bread, (after asking several times for our wine and water) after 50 minites still no water and we asked where our salads were (the restaurant was 1/2 full...we had reservations) and I wount like to speak to the owner. He was gone to get supplies and my appetizers were coming, after ten minutes we left and paid for our unfinished wine. Newer and bigger is not better, no service, up tight atmosphere , not the old relaxing, personal and lovely Linguini's we knew and loved and where is the owner???? Good luck you will need it!
