I went to this place with my grandmother and and we met one of their doctor Dr Raj Maini . He was terrible, he don't know how to talk with the patient, was so rude. He talk to my grandmother in such a unmannered way .I was shocked that we are paying for this and how he is treating us. Looks like he is ignoring his job. I mean this is not a way to talk with a senior citizen this kind of behaviour is totally untolerable and I hope you never face this guy in your future as your consultant.
This Dr. is absolutely the worst! My husband went to see him on 4 seperate occasions. His manner is aboslutely disgusting. Doesn't give patients the time of day. Made us wait for 45 minutes while he had lunch, and then came in to say he got tied up in a meeting. We paid for a special removal, for which my husband had serious scarring and bruising for two weeks after. The worst customer service in GTA!
Doctors are ok, but the office management of the Uptown Eye Specialists is one of the worst in Canada: always long lines and delays (you are EXTREMELY lucky if you spend just 1.5 hours for a scheduled appointment, 2-3 hours is usual time), and standard lie about "emergency cases" (it's not a hospital and even with acute inflammation you can't get an appointment within a week).
They have good and professional doctors that will refer you to another specialist, if that is the case. The staff is kind and respectful.The place is easy to find and parking spaces are available. I have only good comments about them.
This is a referral only DR but let me tell you if you get referred to this office, BEG to go anywhere else!!! Dr Nazemi is a nice enough lady who seems to know what she is doing but the fools who work as the "secretaries" are completely unprofessional and have NO CLUE what they are doing or how to talk to or treat people. I am completely disgusted by the service (or lack there of) by these people and they should ashamed of themselves and never be allowed to work in this profession again. You make UPTOWN EYE SPECIALISTS Look like fools but you ladies, are the fools. You would be better suited in a job that doesn't require dealing with people.
