The second location of Stoney's Bread Company brings made-from-scratch comfort food to Etobicoke. With fresh pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and salads and a speedy ordering system with full table service, locals will be able to grab a healthy lunch, dinner and brunch with ease.
We have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years (since we moved to the area) and it has always been our first choice for atmosphere, food and service.
This restaurant had awful service, we had the wrong appetizers at our table, the waitor was rude and hardly spoke to us, we waited for an hour to get our food and my drink did not arrive until my food came, even though i continuosly reminded my server. I was upset, so i spoke to the manager.I told her my concerns and my experience i had and i let her know I was not looking for a discount since I have already paid, but to let her know service was horrible and it was not that busy in the restaurant. She was rude to me and spoke to me like I did not know what i was talking about. It was my first time there and I will never go back.
You’ll have to head pretty far west (like, Etobicoke far) to sample the oversized salads at this bistro on the Queensway. The colourful veggie-packed plates are a fresh alternative to some of the not-so-healthy fast food spots in the area. That said, the classic Tuscan Caesar salad here isn’t exactly lacking in calories. The greens are dressed in a roasted smoky garlic emulsion and topped with crispy bacon and shredded cheese. Enjoy the salad plain or upgrade your meal with grilled chicken or shrimp and scallops.
