Irish Pub Molly Bloom's

Visited many times over the years. Service: The female night servers are terrible with the exception of the brunette with bangs. They would rather be texting on their cell phones or loudly complaining, or pretty much doing anything but providing good service. Food: Has improved greatly in the last few years. Breakfast: impressed that the cheap breakfast have comeback on the weekends, if people wanted to pay an arm and leg for breakfast they would go to a breakfast joint not a bar. Lunch/Dinner: good apps and sandwiches, GREAT BURGERS. Drinks: Big selection on tap, and they no longer run out of all but 3 brands as they used to about 4 years ago... at least not when I have been in there. Atmosphere: Good place to go hang out with your friends,or go on a date but not a good place to pick up chicks. Music: Seems to be live music every night or almost every night of some kind. It's nice to see some diversity, the musicians/bands don't seem to play the EXACT same thing as every other bar downtown. Good selection of bands & there is an open jam night Thursday and any time I have gone I havn't seen the same musicians as the week before. Age group: seems to be any age, but laid back people, this isn't the place to go to find a fight, or a girl to grind with, but none the less young people seem to go there to hang out or play music, and older people seem to sit at the bar and catch the game. Thats about it, would be a great bar instead of an alright bar, if they did a service overhall.

Great place and friendly service. I like to go here for dinners or just some drinks and always have a great time. My only complaint was I came here on New Year's at 9:00 pm when it was totally dead for some dinner and they were charging a cover.i thought that was pretty weak so I went somewhere else that night.

I love comming to this place. i'v been eher before many times. this wasntmy most memorable visit however. the place was a bit dirty. the service and food waere great as usual though. so just a little set back but overall an awesome place.

Great place to have lunch, and belt back a few cold ones. Service was excellent and the food was great. But i'm going to tell you it sucks because i enjoy the low key atmosphere.

My stew was ~ok. The soup part was thick and not TOO salty, which is a common problem in pubs, but there wasn't enough "stuff" in it, meaning the beef, potatoes & carrots. I think there were maybe 3 pieces of meat and a few more of potatoes.

Decided to go for a late lunch with my girlfriend on Sunday while downtown and thought we would try out Molly Blooms. The game was on the big screen, the service was fast and friendly despite the fact quite a few tables all came in a few minutes after us, the portions were big and I even was handed a Guiness pint glass to keep and won a shirt. All in all a good afternoon.

Went to Molly's because there was a comedy night and my friend was in the show...very funny!!! There was no cover which is unusual for a comedy show so that was great. During the show my server(s) were always available so I didn't have to get up during the show. All in all a great night!!

First time in this pub and was not too impressed...

First time in this pub and was not too impressed. It was somewhat quiet and slow yet it took a long time to be served? Atmosphere was that of a cheaply run/managed greasy bar... not a good experience. I generally do not fill out surveys , but in this case I felt I must.

I had visited here before a few months back and thought I would give it another try. A mistake on my part as the place seems to have gone downhill since my last visit . The bathroom was filthy and covered in graffiti . The floor was dirty and the mood inside the pub was dismal. Service was slow and unfriendly. Appears they do not care about their customers.

I visit this restaurant at least once a week for lunch. They always have great specials.. Burger Tuesdays and Wing Wednesdays are my particular faves. Mike, the manager is great but it's the beautiful and friendly servers, Jessika and Anneli who bring me back every week.

I am a Molly Blooms employee... My reason for this review is to tell you all that we are now under new management. Things have changed here at Molly's. We have done some much needed renovations, And we have some new promotions going on at this time, including 10.00$ domestic pitchers all day every day, 2.50$ domestic drinks every Friday and several daily food specials! i'll be honest...it's been at least three years...

i'll be honest...it's been at least three years since i've been(to guelph). came back to molly's to remember the days... diffrent though, new floors and washrooms (huge tv) and fare is sooo much better. best of luck mike; great pub made me feel at home

I have been to Molly's frequently over the years...

I have been to Molly's frequently over the years, but this time it was different. They have done some much needed renovations and the service and food have also greatly improved! When we arrived we were greeted immediatly. The server suggested the fish and chips and wings which we already knew were great. It was quite busy and the live entertainment was also good. The staff informed me of some great promotions planned for the summer so we will be back for our golf balls, thanks girls!! If you haven't been in awhile - check it out!

Nice looking place but where out of alot of tap beers anything we wanted to order was out, Bar stuff when nice and appoligized. Its not there fall I understand but could use better managment.

If you're looking for an authentic country pub, this is the place to go to!! Great atmosphere, great service, great food, and fantastic prices!! Molly's has the best pull in town (Guinness of course)...World Cup coverage could not be better!!

staff were very friendly and good laugh of an evening with great entertainment. would most defenitley vist again when i get back to canada.

Our party goes here most Wednesday's and Mondays. We have always recieved great service from all the waitresses and cooks. Jaime is always nice and fast in serving us. Mollys is a great place to go if you are looking for quality and quick service. Great work Jaime!
