Server was very pleasant and meal came in orderly time got in and back to work in under one hour !
I ordered beef chow mein and asked the waiter if the noodles it came with were the yellow egg noodles - he said yes. When my food arrived, the "noodles" turned out to be soup crackers thrown on some vegetables! The food was cheap, but still not worth the price at all! The owners should be embarassed.
The place was packed for mothers day but still we received excellent friendly service and the food was excellent and fresh. We did not wait any longer than normal. The best chinese food in town !
Just recently moved into the area. Our neighbours recommended this restaurant to us and we can see why they called it the best place in town for chinese food! Service was excellent. Our meal was wonderful. The server who served us told us she had been working there for over 8 years and that she had been a patron there forever. We can understand how this restaurant has the reputation it does for being an institutuion in the west end for over 30 years now! We will definitely return and tell all our friends!
The only place in town with out the diner look with home cooked tasty meals and excellent friedly service. I recommend this establishment for anyone looking for the best chinese food in Kingston ! Have been coming here for over 25 years !
