I cannot say enough good things about Paramount Pest Control. I would say that Dave's professionalism and attention to detail, is only matched by his ability to put me and my family at ease. We have 3 small children and making sure we had the right guy to take care of our wasp nest problems was of "Paramount" importance. We called Paramount when we noticed a nest on second floor of our house. David came out that same day and destroyed a large nest of hornets, along with the queen. He then explained their behaviour, how he removed them, and how they won't return to that spot. He even showed our kids the nest and eggs!
Several weeks later, we saw hornets around our porch and realized we had new nest in our soffit, which once again David quickly destroyed. He is safe, reliable, fast, and very informative!
We wrote an email on the Paramount Pest Control website explaining our wasp problem. David, the owner, called us literally 30 seconds later. Fastest returned message ever! He arrived about an hour later and promptly assessed and got rid of our wasp nest. We were relieved as I have anaphylactic reactions to stings and we have 2 small children who love to play in our backyard where the nest was. Extremely knowledgeable and efficient!
David removed a large nest of yellow jackets from our yard. When I phoned for his assistance I advised that we were very concerned because my wife was allergic to them. David showed up immediately, explained everything there was to know about the YJs, where to look for future nests and of how lucky I was not to be stung since I had been working within a couple of feet of the nest. Then David removed the nest.
David is very polite, knowledgeable, professional and we recommend him 100%.
In July, Dave and his colleague responded within 24 hours to a sudden and numerous infestation of ants into our home. He quickly assessed the situation and carried out a complete and thorough spraying of the outside perimeter of the house and the inside area where the ants were observed. Dave stated that the spraying had a 6 month guarantee and if we noticed any ant activity to call immediately.
In September another infestation occurred in an adjacent area of the house. Again, David responded within 3 hours and sprayed the suspect areas inside and outside of the house. Noticing that the likely source of the ants could be in a non-accessible area under a family room concrete floor with no basement, Dave suggested a process that he would do in the spring when the ants would be most active. We will definitely have this done.
David's professionalism, fast responses and genuine concern on these 2 occasions was most appreciated by my wife and myself.
