Seriously downhill! The bar food has gotten super greasy and the service just isn't what it used to be. With so many new options in the area, it just doesn't make sense to continue to make this mistake.
Absolutely superb service and friendly atmosphere for all age groups. My favourite special place. The management has it down pat. Leaves you feeling like your money was well spent
I have eaten in the restaurant at a tiny table for 2 shoved between two other tables, no privacy or romance there. High partitions made it dark. I have eaten in the bar area at the back in a booth slightly raised. Much better atmosphere, you get to watch everyone come and go. The servers are great and there are lots of them. The medium well steaks were over cooked both times. But the food was always hot and fresh. Typical prices for an upscale night out or special occasion.
Living in Niagara, this Keg location is always a guaranteed fantastic dinner. Located in a historic rubber factory, this franchise is huge, with plenty of seating, and because it's off the tourist trail you can always get a table. The food is brilliant, the service is excellent, and the surroundings are very warm and intimate. A model franchise.
I went there 3 times when it first opened and realized it was overpriced and I make a better steak at home. I went there years later and our steak was tough and the mashed potatoes had that left over taste to them. We had to wait for ever. Why do they serve that big bread when you are ordering steak, who wants to eat a loaf of sour dough, huge potato and steak, this is the year 2011, we eat more healthier now don't we.?
