“Flowers are always the same the world over and they’ve been the same for years and years. What makes them different is how you put them together,” says Suzanne Gardner, owner of Suzanne Gardner Flowers in Liberty Village. “You have to have a creative bone and you have to be passionate.”

Creative and passionate should be Suzanne’s middle names. She has been in the flower business since the mid-80s and has had customers follow her from store to store, remaining loyal when she opened Suzanne Gardner Flowers in 1996. Although the flowers brought into the store are the same every year, “every new season I get excited about the gorgeous new blooms that I get to put in my bouquets and arrangements,” says Suzanne.
