I had a very negative time here. When I arrived, two men were arguing heatedly by the door. While I was trying on shoes, having been helped by a nice salesperson, one of the men who had been arguing approached me to say that I was too indecisive and that I should go home. I had probably been in the store for under 15 minutes. The man was menacing, irrational, and - frankly - scary. He refused to tell me his name and he did not state his affiliation with the store (maybe a manager or owner?).

Horrible customer service

This store has the the worst customer service. I tried to return a pair of shoes with a manufacturing defect (a pair of Sorel's that were supposed to be waterproof and leaked very badly within the first month of use) that I'd bought at full price, 250$, and they wouldn't even give me a store credit, which they said they would when I asked about the return policy when I first bought them. The wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and said he would send them back to Sorel so that they could 'discover' what the problem was. Three days later he called me back, his explanation for the leak being that someone had 'played a joke on me' and dumped water in my shoe which had then leaked out. When I went in asking for the report from Sorel giving this ridiculous answer he just stared at me then said 'oh... well... we didn't necessarily send them in to Sorel' when I asked for the contacts of the 'expert' who had looked at the shoes he wouldn't give me any. Anyway, now for the middle of winter in montreal I'm stuck with useless expensive boots and have to try and go through Sorel directly to get them replaced or repaired. DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE! It's overpriced and if there's a problem you won't get your money back.
