Le Maistre

We went to this restaurant with empty stomachs and by the looks of the restaurant we thought that this would be a good experience. However, the soup and appetizers were better than the main course; A huge build up to disappointment. Not that the main dish was disgusting but it definitely wasn't worth its price. Even if the food had been better, it would have been ruined by the extremely bad service we received. Waitress treatess us poorly and didn't even look at us when she would serve the plates. Extremely rude, she was making faces after asking her for water (during desert, she had not offered us water during that whole time!!!). Seriously what kind of restaurant doesn't offer you water right from the beginning. Overall her attitude was terrible and she was obnoxious yet hypocritical i.e. smiling and saying 'thanks' in a fake manner. And I don't know where these positive reviews come from... I've been to so many great and less expensive french restaurants in Montreal that actually left me feeling satisfied.
