Opened in 1964 by the Arniotis family of the Plateau Mont-Royal, Place Milton is another in a long line of classic local breakfast bastions. Loved for their crepes, deliciously spiced breakfast potatoes, french toast, and any number of the classic dishes they serve every day, owner Nick Arniotis, whose partner Suzie has also been with the restaurant for over 15 years, wants to make sure that the service never suffers. “We always have satisfied customers, and even regulars that have come here since we first opened. We are first come, first serve, and we give you a great meal you can count on. When someone doesn’t finish their meal, I make sure to ask that everything was alright, and more often than not,” Nick, a smirk peeling across his face adds this with a chuckle, “It’s just a student who’s had a long night, maybe doesn’t have the appetite they expected, but as long as I know the customer gets what they want I’m happy!”
