I have been to other telescope stores that lack attention, service, and give a bad feeling as if they are more bothered. I was looking for an upgrade and went into Vancouver Telescope for the first time. These people are absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable, helpful, and returned the very next day. I am very happy with the owner's personal attention, and the staff. I will no longer go to any other store for an upgrade or accessories. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to my new telescope! Shame on the other store who made me feel like I was bothering them. This is a real store with real service and support! I've been going to Darby's for over 10 years now. It's had it's ups and downs, and right now I think it's in an up place. The food has suddenly gotten a lot better in the last few months, better than some of chain restaurants. The room is a bit old and dated, but in the evening it has that feeling of being in a buddies basement bar-but with good food. I would certainly recommend Darby's as an alternative grown up dining environment for anyone in Kitsilano. You get food better than the big box chains, cheaper, and in an environment you don't feel the need to get dressed up for. Read more
