An out of the way little house that looks like a local take out pizza joint. Walk in and there are a few tables. Sit down and order and get some of the best Italian food I have had in Ottawa. Ask what the special is, you never know. We stared wit a sausage appetizer that is to die for, flavorful and spiced just right. There were 6 of us so we all ordered different things and tried each others. There was not a loser in the bunch. Skip the insalata, it is just greens on a plate. The veal picatta was outstanding and the pastas were great. Get the house wine, the night we were there it was a very good valpolicella. Since I was a little kid this has been a go to place for take out pizza. Had left town for almost 10 years and came back to find my favorite pizza place just as I had left it. I can confirm that those that have the negative reviews on here are absolutely ignorant. This place has been a mom and pop shop since they opened back in their hay day. I have ordered out on numerous occasions from Greek To Go and every time I have been impressed with polite service and AMAZING food. The chicken salad has got to be the best I've ever tasted, FRESHLY (in front of my eyes) grilled chicken on top of a fresh salad topped with a delicious dressing!! I stopped in for pasta night with my fiancé and everything was lovely. The host and waitress were both very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant and on the patio (we sat in both locations as I was a bit warm on the patio) was fun. Our drinks, appetizers and entrées all came exactly as expected and were delicious.
