Great British-themed pub in Newport Village! During the Fall and Winter months it is often packed with a casual, yet fun crowd all weekend long. There is live entertainment on the weekends, which can be fun as well. The servers are attentive and the food is generally good (for pub food). I recommend sticking to the more traditional dishes like the stuffed baby yorkies, Guinness soup, shepherd’s pie, and the steak and Guinness pie (my fave!). We were there this past weekend for the first time in awhile and we realized why we love it so much – it’s that comfortable pub down the street when the weather is bad and you don’t feel like cooking! If I had to describe this place, I would say sushi fusion. They always add an interesting twist to your sushi. Some tips on rolls to try - the Sexy Mindy Roll, the Cherry Blossom and the Las Vegas Roll. Sometimes when you eat in the owner comes around and talks to you , which is nice as well. The decor is pretty cool. And I have to say, they have the best green tea I have ever had. If you get take-out too they are always quick to get it ready for you.
