Not many restaurants open after 10pm on a Thursday for a late night bite along Robson. The service was average as there was a slight delay to order but the beer came prompt which kept us occupied until our grilled calamari and pork cheeks arrived along with the yakisoba. Pretty good in taste overall. The yakisoba was udon based which was not what I was expecting, and not much meat or vegetable but pretty good. Read more

We love trying out restaurants from different regions of the world along Lonsdale, which is a short walk from our home. We tried Kansai thinking it was just a cheap eats like so many other "cheap" Japanese dotting Vancouver. Fortunately this is a gem of a place for good eats and prices. The dinner boxes were excellent with decent portion of cook food and fresh fish. My favourite finds are sushi restaurants with spicy salmon rolls and this fits the spot! Read more
