What happens when three entrepreneurial sisters, with a passion for everything children-related, get together? You get Head Shoulders Knees and Toes — one incredible footwear and fashion boutique. Cheryl Kasianiuk (who also owns another children's store, Bosom Babies), says she “saw the void in the marketplace” for children’s shoes when another local business shut down. She enlisted the help of her older sisters, Barbara Di Curzio and Cynthia Zukowsky, to create a new venture.

The three sisters each have a unique set of talents that contribute to the overall smooth operation of Head Shoulders Knees and Toes. Cheryl puts her energy into managing the books, while Barbara and Cynthia take care of the customer service, buying and merchandising. “One plus one plus one does not equal three — it equals about 10 for us,” says Cheryl.

While HSKT prides itself on seeking out upcoming designers and carrying trend-setting clothes, don’t expect to see all of the latest trends. The sisters are mothers too, and age-appropriateness, particularly for young girls, is a key principle at this store. “We are a children's boutique from head to toe with a mother's eye,” says Barbara.
