Ay caramba! The best taco places in Edmonton

Ay caramba! The best taco places in Edmonton

It’s all about choices at this Mexican grill. You can have soft corn tortillas or crispy corn shells, with ground beef, chicken, shrimp, veggies, beef loaf or carne asada. All tacos come with bell peppers, grilled onion, cilantro, lime, sour cream and house-made salsa. Or, you can get your fill of tacos in the form of a salad. A huge tortilla bowl comes full of veggies, rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, lime and your choice of beef, chicken, shrimp or extra veggies.

Mexican spots in Edmonton that’ll make you scream “ole!”

Mexican spots in Edmonton that’ll make you scream “ole!”

This restaurant is truly a little taste of Mexico. The nachos bowl is so incredible you won’t want to share it. The cheese is perfectly spread out on all the chips, tempting me to get a second order. If it wasn’t for my beef chimichanga, I just might have. The grilled garlic prawns are enormous - these jumbo shrimp are perfection on a plate. And of course, order a bottle of Jarritos, the infamous Mexican soda.

The tastiest burritos Edmonton has to offer

The tastiest burritos Edmonton has to offer

This isn’t the fanciest place in town, but if you want a big, fat burrito, this is where to come. You can’t go wrong with either the carne asada or the shrimp burrito, stuffed with grilled veggies, rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, homemade salsa and guacamole. This is one big burrito you’ll fall in love with at first bite.
