    Not Very Clean

    I have to agree, both locations in town have areas that are neglected. The entry boot area as well as the cubby's look awful. For the west side, they ask you to remove your footwear because they offer esthetics but I would rather not with the carpets being in the shape they are. The carpets past the entry are free from debris buy appear muddy and stained. The beds appear clean for the most part but I still use my own sanitary wipes before I use them. Their rates are great and the staff seem helpful, but being a total inexperienced tanner with no prior training, I am unaware of their inability to produce proper information. I love the locations and will continue to use their facilities but would love to see a few cleanly improvements and new flooring that would accommodate the need for sanitary standards.

    I agree la heat could use better staff, but considering that they make the most money and have the best beds in town obviously they are fine saying youre gonna catch a disease from the beds is ridiculous i mean the reason the acrylics look dirty is because they are scratched and considering i used to manage a tanning salon i know how much this stuff cost and acrylics for the beds they have can cost up to $1800 if they replaced it every time the bed got a scratch they would be bankrupt! and wait until its warm out and theyre ONLY seeing like 200 people a day because right now they are seeing about 400 people im friends with the owners!

    Unsanitary

    I am new to town and was looking for a new place to tan. I worked in a tanning salon in Calgary a couple of years ago, so I had some basic expectations. Walking in I was immediately disappointed to find that the ENTIRE facility has carpet.. the tanning rooms included.. The black fabric chairs in the waiting room were dirty.. I asked for a tour... seen all of the carpet - how can lotion and sweat be cleaned daily from carpet? The facility was not sanitary. I asked about the beds... as I seen alot of different sizes and shapes.. I was told they were high and low pressure... the staff was not educated about which bed was appropriate for building or maintaining a tan... I was told that 'it doesn't really matter what bed I want, they will all work' ... The staff was uneducated and unprofessional. I do not recommend anyone to tan in this unsanitary facility. Especially considering that the minute prices are competitive with clean facilities in town.

    location is good, but the actual facility itself is poorly looked after and very dirty. considering this is a place where you strip down to tan, it should be ALOT cleaner. when I lay on the tanning beds i feel like I am going to catch some sort of skin infection or disease. The staff are also very unprofessional, having inapropriate conversations among one another and cursing infront of customers. very dissapointed in the service, by far the poorest run tanning salon in Grande Prairie, AB.
