H&R Block

Third year in a row they have screwed up on my taxes! Because I work nights I thought I’d give it the 3 try and you out thing. They are out!! They have Mia filed, lost items added returns improperly, it’s crazy. This year I apparently owe them another 440 bucks after I’ve already paid 300 . Don’t do it They must scramble to hire the worst because they pay horribly or something it’s almost comical.

If you do not want much of your tax return money back, than go to H+R. Their fees are ridiculous high: to type your SIN NR and T 4 in the computer they charge you $165.99(if you are a senior). Not a large amount for them, but for you if you count every cent it is quite a lot.

This was the first and last time we will ever use H & R Block... My girlfriend and I went in seperatly and Saw Ruth. She talked and explained that we would be best to file as comon law even though we don't live together. We were both very confused and did not understand what Ruth was doing as she reassured us that it was normal and in our best interest. Neither my girlfriend nor myself do taxes and trusted that they were doing their jobs as professionals. Wrong. It was not untill we spoke to an advocate that recognizes instantly that there was quite a large error. We have been fighting with them for over a month now and they won't even admit that they bamboozled us. They are now holding my girlfriends paperwork and say it was no fault of theirs.... You'd think that a company in our community would do all they could to not ruin their name and rectify instead it has turned it to more stress and confusion. We just wanted to be diligent people and get our taxes prepared by "Professionals" not so it would seem. A lawyer is now in order to sift through the mess H & R Block left us in.... Tax Pain I'll Say...
