Great homestyle food and friendly service.
Alice's is a great place to go if you want a cozy diner experience with home-made food. Although this place is also a great motorcycle stop, they certainly welcome everybody. They are located in the quaint town of Lumby, just 20 minutes east of Vernon on the #6 highway. The Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich is to die for - creamy melted cheese on top of sliced chicken breast and ham in between layers of thick buttery grilled bread. Other special treats include home made doughnuts (YAY!) and tasty pies. Overall, a great, straightforward, place to go for a coffee, sandwich or burger.
