In 2014, husband and wife team Jezebel Erding and Justin Champlain of The Woofer Walkers became the first dog walkers in Canada to offer the innovative Pet Check Technology. Their decision to adopt this technology was fast-tracked as a result of the tragic news that a Langley dog walker had left six dogs to perish in a hot truck while under her care.

Pet Check Technology activates when the dog walker enters the client’s home and scans a barcode on a special fridge magnet using an app on their smartphone. This sends an email and text to the dog owner, alerting them that their pet is about to be taken for a walk.

“Our clients can know exactly where their dogs are at all times,” says Jezebel. Pet Check Technology enables The Woofer Walkers to closely monitor walkers, which has allowed them to confidently extend their flexible, affordable dog walking services from Richmond to Greater Vancouver.

    I noticed the woo...

    I noticed the woofer walkers are in today's Richmond newspaper talking about the new gps technology they now using to walk dogs and this is the company I been using for about two and a half years now. it's time I wrote them a great review too. my wife and I work full time. we hired them because our dog Eddy was barking while we are at work. we hired them to take eddy out. It worked and no more complaints from our neighbours anymore. We are most satisfied and happy to recommend them to others.

    Wonderful!

    This is MUCH more than just a dog walking service! Bella and company at The Woofer Walkers offer exceptional care and huge amounts of fun for all the dogs they work with. You might ask yourself what The Woofer Walkers does to deserve such high praise...well let me tell you! -Before taking our sweet pup Petey on as a client, Bella came to our house for a free consultation. She wanted to get to know our dog as an individual to access which of dog groups he would be best suited for. He knowledge of dog behavior was immediately evident! Plus, Petey fell in love with her right away. He sat right next to her during our visit and responded to her commands. -Our dog comes home exhausted and happy every day. Not only does Bella mix up the locations for their walks daily, but she also makes sure that all the dogs are comfortable with the groups they are in. She takes into account the energy levels, age and temperament of each dog. -Most importantly, the level of commitment and care my dog receives was made apparent when after only a few weeks with The Woofer Walkers I was called out of town on an emergency. It was on the weekend but Bella responded immediately and came and picked up Petey for the weekend and boarded him in her lovely home. She even took it upon herself to send me pictures and text updates so that I could rest easy and know that my little guy was well taken care of. I could go on, but I will let you decide for yourself.     Woofer Walker is Fabulous!

    Woof Walkers is a fabulous dog walking service that I've used for my 3 dogs for 4 years. Bel, the owner, is not only professional and dependable but more importantly my dogs just adore her. Bel takes them for a long, interesting walk at different places each time so that not only their bodies but also their minds are exercised. They all come home completely worn out and they sleep really well every night. Bel picks them up and drops them off and makes sure that they are completely clean before she puts them back in my house. I can't recommend Woofer Walkers highly enough. Your furbaby will not only be safe with Woofer Walkers but will have a blast at the same time! Try WW out - you won't regret it.

    Stellar service

    Ive had my dog, Drago for 3 years and he's always been really hyper and hard to please in terms of walks. I was taking him on a one hour walk every day after work but he still had a ton of energy left over after the walk and would whine at me all evening trying to convince me to take him out yet again. Since I've been using the woofer walkers services to walk Drago while I'm at work each day he is no longer whining at me to take him out in the evenings anymore. In fact he sleeps contently by my feet while I am free to relax and surf the net or watch tv without him pestering me. I recommend the woofer wallkers highly to anyone who has a dog.
