Bob Mortlock is the owner and general manager of Pacific Home Improvements. He commenced his construction career in 1970 as a carpenter in the family commercial construction company in Ontario. He eventually became vice-president and co-owner in 1978. The company specialized in large commercial projects (factories, warehouses, grocery chains) and institutional construction (hospitals, schools). During his time as VP Bob was responsible for several multi-million dollar projects and many commercial renovations. During his time in Ontario he was on the Board of Directors of the local construction exchange, past member of the Ontario General Contractors Association and past member of the Canadian Construction Association. Since his move to the Sunshine Coast he is past Director of the Sechelt Chamber of Commerce. His current time and efforts are devoted to Pacific Home Improvements.

Bob relocated to British Columbia in 1984 when he purchased several franchises outside of the construction industry. He subsequently relocated to the sunshine coast in 1993. Following the sale of these franchises he returned to his construction background by starting Pacific Home Improvements in 1999. Since then Bob and his crew of talented carpenters and subcontractors have completed hundreds of renovations and specialized projects throughout the Sunshine Coast.     New roof installed 2010 extensive leaking detected 2016 ... endeavouring to get Mr. Mortlock to honour his warranty commitment for past 18 months but to no available. Mr. Mortlock ignores our phone calls and does not return messages. This case has been referred to the BBB.
