Excvellent all round. The view is what theya re known for but they have great service. I like the courtesy and we are impressed that they are consistet with it. Had the Lobester special which was a bargain for $34.
Boathouse is a true highlight of Downtown Vancouver and I feel very fortunate to live in the metro around it.
This place is exceptional. As I write, my mouth moistens with a desire to return.
After sharing a plate of steak nachos with jalapeño peppers, my lady friend plumped for a beef fajitas dish while I went for the steak, thinking I was playing safe. The portions were full - we both took food home - and delivered with friendly, enthusiastic service by a very sexy young girl. The meals were excellent.
Our experience clearly wasn't a fluke. We've seen queues of people waiting to get in even on Monday evenings.
The drinks selection is also very impressive, with a big variety of beers, wines and cocktails. My good lady's Margarita was excellent.
I would obviously recommend this place to anybody. Boathouse is a delight and so are its waitresses too bad I am dating and have been married for years.
