EOS Eco-Energy Inc. has partnered with the Town of Sackville, NB to install a 100 amp (240 volt) Sun Country Highway electric vehicle (EV) charging station. The installation work (by Tantramar Electric) is nearly complete at the Sackville Visitor Information Centre at 34 Mallard Drive. Sun County Highway will be on hand for the official launch and inaugural charge at noon on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014. They will be bringing a Tesla Model S to charge. The public and media are welcome to attend this special event to learn more about electric vehicles and charging stations. Sackville joins a growing network of EV charging stations across Canada and the world, making it easier for EV owners to travel further.
